Majlinda Fetaji is Full Professor, in Computer Sciences and Technologies. She Received her PhD in South East European University, Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies, Computer Sciences and a Master of Sciences, from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Electro-technical Faculty. Majlinda has a teaching experience for more than 20 years in undergraduate and Master programme. Shkelzen Cakaj has received his BSc and MSc degrees from Pristina University in Kosovo. He has prepared his Master Thesis at Vienna Technical University. He was awarded a PhD in the area of satellite communications from Zagreb University, in January 2008. Later on, in 2009, as Fulbright scholar, he continued his postdoctoral research at NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) at Maryland, USA. He is the author of 66 papers published in worldwide conferences and journals; mostly IEEE. He also engaged as a reviewer for IEEE Communication Magazine, etc. His area of interest is the satellite ground station performance. In 2016 he was awarded as “Albanian ICT Researcher of the Year 2015”. He is promoted as Associate Professor, from Polytechnic University of Tirana.

Blendi Shima has a PhD and DBA in Business Administration from SMC Business School and University of Central Nicaragua. His collaborations span across the globe. He is part of various journal editorial boards, locally and internationally, conference proceedings, and articles for scientific journals. In recognition of his work, he was awarded the “Best Researcher” award for the conference paper “Sustainable Development by Means of Community-Centered Business Practices: The Tourism Industry in Context” at the 11th International Scientific Conference of Business Faculty, “Aleksander Moisiu” University. He also was a winner of the “New Central Europe I” Research Scholarship Program, granted by the EU and Hungary and coo financed by the European Social Fund.

Sokol Abazi graduated as Industrial Chemist in Albania, Tirana University in 1989. In 1997 he obtained his PhD from Fribourg University (Switzerland) in organic synthesis using radical chemistry. After a Postdoc in Total Synthesis of Natural Products at Oxford University in 1998, he worked for a couple of companies in the UK and Switzerland and then returned to Albania working as a Professor at Tirana University. Since 2015 he is a Full Professor at CIT, from 2020 he holds the Rector position. His research interests are mainly focused on natural products, organic synthesis, and supercritical fluid extraction (SFE). In the last decade, he has been working on the use of a modified “soxhlet-like” extraction technique using sub-critical CO2. Shefqet Meda graduated as an electronic engineer who has gained extensive experience and expertise in the IT and telecommunications industry. He served as the Technical Director at the Electronic Communications Authority in Albania for 10 years and was also the Director of IT Systems at Albanian Power Corporation. Meda has worked as a Database Administrator at SIIA and served as the Scientific Technical Director for NIS. He holds several certifications from various reputable organizations such as Harvard University, UN/International Telecommunication Union, and Microsoft Academy, among others. Meda has contributed to various peer-reviewed journals, co-authored publications, and supervised numerous diploma theses in the field of security, artificial intelligence, IoT, networks, and telecom. He is a member of the Noncommercial Stakeholder Group of ICANN and also serves as a board member of the Albanian Institute of Broadcast Engineers.

Florenc HIDRI currently works at the Canadian Institute of Technology, where he teaches courses in Software Architecture and Design, Computer Science Fundamentals, and Web Development. Florenc’s educational journey includes ongoing Ph.D. studies in Information and Management Systems at South East European University. He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Informatics and a Professional Master (M.P) in Applied Informatics. Florenc’s main research interests are Agile, Natural Language Processing, and closely related fields.
